In 2015, I transitioned from a successful law career in New York to dedicating my life to Yoga, health and wellness. After curing a herniated disc, developed from sitting at my old law firm desk, through frequent yoga practice, yoga went from being a respite from everyday life to so much more – it was how to find balance, stability, health and happiness. Leaving my old desk behind and diving in, I have earned thousands of hours of teacher training under the guidance of master teachers in New York. I am grateful to have the privilege to continuously learn from Colleen Saidman Yee, Rodney Yee, Heather Lilleston, Jamie Lugo, Nikki Costello and Sangeeta Vallabhan. Ultimately, I believe that the most important teacher is within. When I’m not learning from others, my curiosity digs me deeper into my studies whether it is through reading, movement or life in general.

I am honored to have taught in numerous Yoga studios in Israel, California & New York, including Yoga Vida, Yoga Shanti, and Sweat Yoga. I have also had the pleasure of teaching on Good Morning America’s “Tone in 20” and to thousands of people in Times Square at the Solstice.

I value creativity, flow, alignment and self-discovery. My classes are fun, safe, challenging and musically charged. Usually my classes are sequenced to build up to a peak pose. My background honors the safe alignment principles from the Iyengar method and merges it with a modern creative vinyasa style flow developed by Yoga Shanti. I like to teach to the bodies in the room and will adjust my plan and style accordingly. Typically, my classes are challenging, but accessible so that most students leave feeling balanced. I have experience teaching all types of students including: beginner, experienced, children, seniors, those with injuries, prenatal and postnatal.

Most recently, after learning that I have a chronic illness, I began to delve into nutrition and how food affects my physical health. Empowered to heal, I am currently studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and have already received the ability to call myself a Health Coach. Looking forward to servicing my students and clients not only though yoga, movement and meditation, but now also through the lens of nutrition and holistic health.
